ESPN Releases Top 10 Coaching Jobs in Football – Texas, ND, Bama, LSU, Michigan, OSU, UF All Make the List

This list encompasses both NFL and NCAA football teams. Here she is:

1. Green Bay Packers
2. University of Texas
3. New England Patriots
4. Notre Dame
5. New York Giants
6. University of Alabama
7. LSU
8. Michigan/Ohio State
9. University of Florida
10. Houston Texans

Number eight is solid evidence that author Gene Wojciechowski has a sick sense of humor, locking up one of college football’s most historic and bitter rivalries like that. Their fans will have fun with that one. A surprising omission, in my opinion anyway, is USC. Figured that position to be in the top three of college football.

And finally, I was completely shocked to see Texas at the two spot in all of football. It’s pretty clear that it is the premier gig in the NCAA, but ahead of the Patriots? Maybe it’s worth a shot dropping a burnt orange blank check on Bill Belichick’s doorstep. Mack Brown is clearly underperforming according to this write-up:

2. University of Texas

When they hand you the coaching keys to the Longhorns’ football program, you get the most expensive car on the lot.

According to research done at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus, Texas’ football program is worth $805 million — more than the Forbes-calculated value of the Jacksonville Jaguars ($770 million), St. Louis Rams ($780 million) and Oakland Raiders ($785 million). In other words, the Longhorns aren’t sweating the $5.35 million salary they pay Mack Brown. Or the $25.9 million (U.S. Department of Education figures) they spent on the program in 2011.

If you can’t win at Texas, then you ought to consider another profession. The school and Austin are drop-dead gorgeous. You usually get first pick of the state’s lonnnnnng list of quality recruits. And it doesn’t hurt to have your very own Longhorn Network. Every conceivable advantage awaits.

The Houston Texans? A team with a whopping ten years of history and one playoff win to its name is considered one of the top ten coaching jobs? This list is a joke.

Ole Miss isn’t even close to a top 10 job, probably not a top 10 college football job. Doesn’t make you any less queer though. Thinking Ole Miss women are ugly. The Fuck is wrong with you?

Again, if you don’t like Ole Miss women, you don’t like women. This isn’t name, this is heterosexuality. There are rules.
