Your probably won of those queers with a coexist stickers on their Prius. This is America and the metric system will never be adopted into our culture, so you and your little GDI friends can go shotgun a gallon of drain cleaner or Uncle Sam will put his boot in your ass you liberal UnAmerican scum bag.

It would make engineering easier but I don’t care. Google will convert anything you want in 1 second.

Metric temperature is retarded for day to day use. 10 degrees in F hardly matters, 10 degrees in C is the difference between wearing shorts or a winter coat.

‘smart as fuck’ gets it. Engineering conversions blow dick when you’re in a test and Google isn’t readily available.

Seriously, its so much easier to picture someones height when you say 6 feet rather than 1.8m

Thank god we don’t use the metric system for say, soda volume or soldiers estimating distance…oh wait.

In all honesty it would be in America’s best interest to go metric. Units conversion is a huge source of invisible loss in a multitude of multinational industries, from small daily hand conversion errors to a units misuse that causes an $8 billion Mars probe to careen off course and burn up (yes, that happened; American engineers gave it English inputs when it required metric). Metric makes way more sense (what the fuck is a slug anyway?)

The real reason it won’t ever happen? Think about how much it would cost to replace every single road sign in the entire country.
