North Carolina State Pathetically Begs Reporters On Twitter To Give Wolfpack Players All-ACC Honors

Aw man, this is kind of sad.

In the pitiful football conference known as the ACC, NC State, a perpetual bottom dweller, would be remiss if it did not let you know that some of its players aren’t totally terrible at football. The official verified NC State football account has been spamming regional reporters all day about All-Conference voting. It would like everyone to know that it has some “strong candidates!!”

I counted 27 Twitter spambot messages. Could you imagine a school like Alabama, Texas or Southern Cal doing this? Hell no. What an irritating thing to do.

NC State is 7-4 this season, but has played absolutely no one. The combined record of teams NC State has beaten is something like 2-29 against other P5 schools.

If the entire All-ACC team isn’t just Clemson’s starting offense and defense with a few Tar Heels and Seminoles mixed in, then we know that the whole process is corrupt. The ACC has been unequivocally atrocious this year, with only Pitt, UNC, Clemson and Florida State playing semi-competent football.

I mean, the season isn’t even over. NC State hasn’t even gotten blasted by the Tar Heels yet. Clemson and FSU, meanwhile, are about to go give it to the “mighty” SEC East that was taken to overtime, and beaten, by FCS and lower FBS opponents last week. Run through like shit through a tin horn. God damn it do I love rivalry week.

A message to all social media interns at Power Five schools: Don’t be like NC State. Look less pathetic and do your bidding behind closed doors..
