I look at it as a slight hangover helper over a gateway drug. Alcohol’s the biggest gateway drug I’ve ever heard of, without it I’d never have gotten into the fun shit.
The only reason it is a gateway drug is because it puts you in contact with the kind of people who sell harder drugs. Therefore legalizing it will eliminate the contact most people have with drug dealers.
I’m really surprised that a comment like this was made. Most of the time it’s just guys bashing weed because it’s “NF”. It’s good to see an honest opinion on here that doesn’t put someone down just because of the personal preferences when it comes to drugs/drinking/partying/etc for once.
According to the Feds, weed is a gateway drug to other drugs that are less dangerous. Anyone can use this type of analogy. You can say I started with milk, which led to coca cola, which led to bourbon, which led to absinth, which lead to acid, which led to what ever you get the point.
It releases carcinogens and impairs judgement, while also affecting overall level of motivation and energy. Use it if you want, but acknowledge that it definitely does bad things.
Last time i checked, cigs release carcinogens and alcohol only motivates me to rage face. Not like im gonna be writing a paper after downing a 5th of eagle rare. Weed may not be the best for your body just like the above mentioned but its a good time. And if your chapter existed anywhere between 1960-well today you will find some of your alumni shared a joint or two. When did drugs become such anti- fraternity thing? We are men in fraternities, if you dont wanna smoke its fine but none of us need our mommys telling us how bad it is for us.
