University Of Minnesota Student Government Rejects 9/11 Remembrance Because It Would Violate Safe Space
Tuesday, the University of Minnesota student government rejected a resolution for a moment of remembrance that would honor all of those men and women who died on September 11th for all future 9/11 anniversaries, because it might cause an islamophobic sentiment on campus.
From Campus Reform:
“The passing of this resolution might make a space that is unsafe for students on campus even more unsafe,” said Algadi, “Islamophobia and racism fueled through that are alive and well.”
Algadi added that holding a moment of recognition over a tragedy committed by non-white perpetrators could increase racist attitudes on campus, asking, “When will we start having moments of silence for all of the times white folks have done something terrible?”
That’s it. I’m done with everyone. Do you guys remember when the internet was full of humorous and entertaining news, pictures, and videos? Me neither. This recent barrage of political correctness and outrage has wiped my mind clean and killed any enjoyment I ever had for this job. I remember I used to wake up every morning excited to come into the office, write about some kid trying to fuck a shampoo bottle or punch a man-eating shark in the face, post a few funny videos and some pictures of chicks in bikinis and call it a day. What a life!
But no more. The world wide web and country at large has been hijacked by social justice warrior terrorists and the fun police. I’m one more “safe space” away from going full “Into the Wild,” venturing off into the Alaskan frontier, and never interacting with another human being again. I just need to remember to avoid any and all berries as well. Fuck the direction college campuses are going right now.
Preach, Barry..

If you think this is ok, then you must also be ok with not honoring those lost during the Pearl Harbor bombing. If that’s the case then fuck you.

10 years ago at 4:42 pmDid that video give anyone else chills? Or is that just me?
10 years ago at 4:42 pmNot surprising from one of the most liberal schools in the US.
10 years ago at 4:43 pm“Non-white perpetrators”
It’s only ok to remember all the times white people fucked up now.
You want to honor those who died in 9/11 (a tragrdy that happened a few years ago) and you start offending people because non-whites crashed the planes. But if you want to talk about slavery (a tragedy that happened over 100 years ago) its all good. Because fuck white people right? Damn honestly algadi how about we all just pretend the terrorists were white that way atleast we can show respect to the people who were fucking massacred.
Fuck you algadi you little ass wipe

10 years ago at 4:45 pmI agree, but this was in minnesota
10 years ago at 10:51 amHmm maybe instead of worrying about a monument creating islamaphobia the Muslims could stop blowing shit up. At some point someone needs to let them know they bring it on themselves. But yeah let’s not make a monument out of fear of offending the goat fuckers that caused the desire for a monument in the first place.
10 years ago at 4:50 pmHoly shit. When did we as America become a nation of pussies? Why aren’t protests being staged against this decision? This shit has just got to stop.
10 years ago at 4:59 pmThe only potential canidate that could care less about being pc is trump
10 years ago at 5:16 pmCarson has the same attitude, he just combats it with intellect instead of just calling everyone losers. He’s pissed plenty of pc fucks off with his comments on school shootings and refused to apologize…
10 years ago at 10:55 amWhat is this “safe space” bullshit? There ain’t no “safe spaces” in the world. You make your own safe spaces by being vigilant, standing up for freedom of speech and The Constitution of the United States of America, supporting our military and law enforcement and refusing to put up with bullshit like this crap from U of Minn.
