Odds are pretty good your annoying, Bernie Sanders-loving Facebook friends will disagree with every point in this video, but Lahren is right.

    Although I appreciate her effort, she doesn’t do anything to actually address or provide context to the “issue.” She simply spews off rhetoric we hear on a daily basis without any context. From a millennial male perspective, it’s the female imperative, burden of performance, and and risk men take on in a LTR/marriage. Nowhere does she address these issues, only assumes men need to suck it up/be a man. Society has created a place where men are frowned upon for being a man. However, women want a “man” when it benefits their imperative/situation. Never during her talk does she put herself in the males perspective and address her “issues” from a male point of view.

    You want men to start “maning up,” create a society that doesn’t chastise alpha male behavior, create laws that help men get out of bad marriages without losing their life work, enable men to better themselves and be uplifted for it, acknowledge there are differences between men and women and those are ok. Until this happens you’ll get beta dudes who don’t want to take on the liability/responsibility/risk of what she’s asking for. Keep in mind she’s asking for a double standard here. She wants a society that allows her to express her opinion on a national level at the ripe age of 23, but also wants men to be the burden holders, the ones who take the risk. Until this is acknowledge and fixed you’ll have a society of bros who would rather get drunk, play video games, and smoke weed. Which reminds me, let’s get some beers.
