I used to think American Tinder was as weird as it got when it came to dating apps, but then I was informed about Tantan, China’s version of Tinder.

A tipster named Adam sent this email to our tipline (tips@totalfratmove.com) about his experience with the dating app:

Long story short after graduation two of my fraternity brothers and myself came to China to teach English for a year. Shortly after arriving here we got TanTan the Chinese version of tinder. A lot of Chinese girls choose English names for themselves though most have little to no idea what their names actually mean. The resulting names are incredible. We have been keeping screenshots of all of the ridiculous names and pictures we’ve found.
