The Official 2016 Frat Bracket: Round Of 32

The Midwest Region

#1 Fire vs. #8 Beer pong

Fire faces its first real test of the tournament after demolishing Steve Holt in the first round (who were the 1,274 psychos that voted for Steve???). All analysts are predicting an upset here for 8 seed beer pong, but I’m hesitant to agree with them. Fire is hot, incredibly destructive, and usually started as a result of some careless act. Is beer pong more frat than that?

#2 Sperry Top-Sider vs. #10 Holes in the drywall

Tens of thousands of Sperry-shaped holes have been put in drywall over the years, so these two opponents are fairly complementary in nature. But, in the end, is it more frat to don the footgear of the privileged, or to use that footgear to cause small-scale destruction? You decide. I’m on upset alert.

#3 Adderall vs. #6 Keystone Light

Using Adderall to study after blowing off review session after review session to drink alcohol is certainly F. But, in the same vein, so is the alcohol for which you’re blowing off studying — and many times, that alcohol is Keystone Light. While it certainly plays second fiddle to Natural Light, Keystone is a contender in its own right. Even if it can’t pull off the minor upset, it deserves some credit.

#4 Whiskey vs. #5 Not pulling out

I love this head-to-head. Whiskey, which causes men to have a flaccid penis during hookups and thus preventing insertion, versus not pulling out, the act of your boner overstaying its welcome. Drink too much whiskey and you won’t need to worry about pulling out (because it’ll never be in). Don’t pull out and you won’t be drinking too much whiskey (child support is pretty expensive, I hear). These two do not like each other. This is a fratchup™ to watch.

Suprised they didn’t throw rowdy gentleman on this bracket and stuff the ballot box all the way to the ‘ship.

Not only did it not lose in the first round, but it’s currently looking like it’s going to win the second. Possibly even the third. You don’t real so well, do you boy?

I’m going Whiskey over Not Pulling Out, because if you DO pull out you can jizz on her face though.

It helps that IM sports had such an easy draw into the Sweet 16 though. Embezzlement and Not Paying Dues? Come on man. Those aren’t frat…

Agreed, but would IM sports have been seeded higher if drunk? That minor distinction could make all the difference.

I will probably get lapped for this but I think pledges should have been a solid seed. Obviously they’re pledges so the fucking suck, but at the end of the day if we didn’t have pledges we’d just be walking into a social group.

Don’t tell them that, you pussy. Besides, hazing is up there. What’s hazing without pledges?

I hate not picking at least one underdog but I feel Natty Light and Hazing play for the Ship here and Hazing beats natty. Mostly through the use of obscenities and rage fueled by Natty light.

Adderal vs Keystone Light is probably the hardest call i’ve had to make in 4 years of college

It’s fucking cocaine. You show me a man who’ll take a Natty briefcase over an eightball and i’ll show you a liar.

gotta go with the blow. I’ll take a big gator tail of disco dust over drinking alcoholic water any day.

Keystone could easily be replaced with any number of shitty beers, but Addy only has a rival in cocaine which IS seeded higher. No pun intended.

It was disappointing, but a loss to republicanism is respectable. Maybe next year?
